The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
